True love is a theme that is clearly expressed throughout the novel. Elizabeth and Darcy are able to establish a love-hate relationship early in the novel. However, in the end Darcy shows his love for Elizabeth by trying to make a mends. He is able to pay Mr. Wickham off since he ran away with Lydia and help Mr. Bingley win back Jane.
